Topley and Henderson Sign.
Dixie Robinson has boosted his squad with the addition of Jonny Topley and Niall Henderson.
Jonny Topley signs for the Swifts for two years from Mid Ulster neighbours Portadown. Topley certainly comes as no stranger to the Stangmore club, having played for the Swifts on two previous occasions. The 5’11 central midfielder will add some vital strength and height to the centre of the pitch. .
Niall Henderson has signed for one year and joins Dungannon Swifts from Newry City. Henderson is also a midfielder who has a great creative flare to add to the Stangmore Squad.
Both players will make their debut against Queen of the South this Saturday 10th July At Stangmore Park.
Speaking about his new signings Dixie Robinson said; “I rate both players very highly. I had initially sought one central midfielder to replace Neil McCafferty, however both players were so keen to sign for me that I ended up not being able to choose between them, so I signed them both! ‘Hendo’ has been across the water and ‘Toppers’ has been with the Swifts before so I know what I am getting from both players, they will both be great assets to the Swifts team.
